I am so happy to finally be in Seville, only one more job to do and that is cycle to the stadium where the UEFA Cup Final was played 20 years ago. I had organised it so that we could cycle into the stadium and do a lap of honour 😊🚴
I had a much needed beer and a beautiful meal the night before on a rooftop restaurant near the Cathedral ...
Breakfast was nice for once, I do like the NH Hotels for that. I went for a walk to find the venue we had booked for the celebration dinner and double check the arrangements. Everything was in order and it was only a 10 min walk.
Back into the cycling gear and off to the stadium. City centre cycling isn´t much fun and can be very slow depending on the traffic so we set off with plenty time to spare.
I had the honour of leading us into the Estadio La Cortuja via the south tunnel entrance ...
Once the lap of honour was done we gathered at the dugout area for one last group photo ...
That´s it, we´ve done it and collectively raised over £70k for The Celtic Foundation 👏👏👏
